Request to award RFP 20-02 a contract for On-Call Environmental Professional Services to Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY: In order to ensure continued compliance with our MS-4 permit and maintain the Town’s stormwater program, staff relies on professional consultant support. The previous contract for this service has expired, and the Town has advertised a new request for proposals.
Proposals were received from eight (8) companies.
As a result of an initial evaluation by three (3) Evaluation Committee members, the top three (3) companies, Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Stantec Engineering, and Schnabel Engineering, were interviewed.
After interviews, Wood was the top-ranked company. The company has been determined to be a responsive and responsible bidder. After negotiations with the vendor, a rate schedule has been agreed upon.
Staff recommends that award of RFP 20-02 to be made to:

Quotes for specific tasks will be prepared and brought to Council for award when warranted.

Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town solicited requests for proposals for an on-call environmental professional services contract, and Town Council may award the contract to the highest-rated responsive and responsible bidder.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council aware a contract for on-call environmental professional services to Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, as presented.
