Sept. 13, 2021 - Council approved the award of IFB 22-01 to Midlantic Marking, Inc.
June 6, 2022 - Council approved FY23 spending with Midlantic Marking, Inc.
June 5, 2023 - Council approved FY24 spending with Midlantic Marking, Inc.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is seeking Town Council approval to award Invitation for Bid (IFB) 24-28 to Resurface Inc. for recurring pavement marking requirements, and to award an allocation of $200,000.00 for FY25 pavement marking services to be performed on an as needed basis.

As background, IFB 22-01 for recurring on-call pavement marking services expires on June 30, 2024 and this is the re-competed contract to provide these services in FY25.

Bids were received from four (4) vendors and Resurface Inc. was the lowest offeror with a bid amount of $133,856.39. Resurface Inc. has been determined to be a responsive and responsible bidder and has met the requirements of the IFB specifications.

Resurface Inc. will be utilized on an as-needed basis for applying pavement and traffic markings for various Town roadways, parking lots, and pavements to support construction, repair, and safety initiatives.

Next Steps: Award IFB 24-28 for continuation of services in FY25.
