Request to adopt 2025 Vienna Town Council meeting schedule for inclusion in the 2025 Town calendar.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Staff requests Vienna Town Council’s approval of its 2025 regular meeting and work session schedule, as required by Town Code, for inclusion in the printed 2025 Town of Vienna calendar. The printed Town calendar includes meeting dates for Town Council and other boards and commissions along with Town events. The printed calendar is expected to be mailed to residents by mid-December.
The 2025 printed calendar will feature images of artwork by members of the Vienna Arts Society. A draft of the proposed Town Council meeting calendar is attached.

Public Information Department staff requests Council’s approval of the 2025 Vienna Town Council meeting schedule for inclusion in the printed 2025 Town calendar.

Town Attorney Recommendation: Pursuant to the Town Code, the Town Council generally holds its regular meetings on the first and third Monday’s of each month (with at least one meeting per month required by the Town Charter). Under Town Code Section 2-14, the Town Council may otherwise schedule its regular meetings on other times as may be fixed by resolution.
Town Manager’s Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council adopt the Town Council meeting schedule for the 2025 calendar year, as presented.
