EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year, a real estate tax rate is recommended as part of the Town Manager’s proposed budget for the coming fiscal year. This request is to set a public hearing for April 28, 2025, to provide for public input on the proposed real estate tax rate for fiscal year 2025-26.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend a public hearing.

Town Attorney Recommendation: In anticipation of the upcoming review and adoption of the FY25-26 Town Budget, the Town Attorney recommends the Town Council set a public hearing to receive public input on the proposed real estate tax rate.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for April 28, 2025, regarding the FY 2025-2026 real estate tax rate, as presented.
