Request to establish an agreement with Granicus, Inc. (formally Vision Technologies) for migration and redesign services for the Town’s external website.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Town’s staff interviewed and reviewed several web developers and chose Granicus, Inc., for their innovative styles, flexible designs, and organized layouts. Granicus will assist the Town in designing a site that is modern and reflects the Town’s character, as well as is organized to keep searches simple and easier in locating content. Additional services that we have with other third-party vendors such as alert notifications (Everbridge), Payments (Munis), Meeting Audio/Video Archival (Granicus), Incident Management (Munis), and Class Registration (WebTrac) will continue to be used and linked to the new website.
Departmental Recommendation: This request meets the needs and goals for the Town. This project is approved.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town may ride the proposed website IT contract with Granicus, Inc. or solicit bids in the discretion of the Town Council.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I reccommend the Town Council approve the proposed expenditures with Granicus, Inc. for purchase, mitigation and redesign of the Town’s external website.
