Request to adopt 2027 Town Council meeting schedule for inclusion in the 2027 Town of Vienna Calendar.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Public Information Department requests Vienna Town Council’s approval of its proposed 2027 regular meeting and work session schedule, as required by Town Code, for inclusion in the printed 2027 Town of Vienna Calendar. The printed Town calendar includes meeting dates for Town Council and other boards and commissions along with Town events. The printed calendar is expected to be mailed to residents by mid-December.
The 2027 printed calendar will feature images of artwork by members of the Vienna Arts Society. A draft of the proposed 2027 Town Council meeting calendar is attached.

Public Information Department staff requests the Town Council’s approval of the proposed 2027 Vienna Town Council meeting schedule for inclusion in the printed 2027 Town calendar.

Town Attorney Recommendation: Pursuant to Town Code Section 2-14, the Town Council’s regular session meetings are on the first and third Mondays of each month or as such other times as may be fixed by resolution (with at least one regular meeting per month). The Town Council may adopt its proposed meeting schedule in its discretion.
Town Manager’s Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council adopt the Town Council meeting schedule for the 2027 calendar year, as presented.
