EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY: This public hearing is to receive citizen input to
proposed changes to the Town’s Noise Code. Specifically adding federal holidays to the restriction on noise when working for remuneration and limiting the number of lawn care/landscaping equipment being used on residential properties during certain hours.
Departmental Recommendation: Police recommend receiving public comments on the proposed changes.

Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town Council may conduct a public hearing to receive public input on the proposed amendments to Chapter 10 related to noise, in its discretion.
