EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
On Jan. 29, 2024, the Vienna Town Council approved moving the Town’s financial system on Tyler Technology software to the Tyler cloud for hosting. This process was implemented on Feb. 1, after Town Council’s approval.
Tyler software provides all the reporting, billing, permitting, cash/credit card payment, payroll and accounts payable systems utilized by the Town.
The Finance Department requests approval to renew the maintenance agreement, including training, for a total not to exceed $213,500 for fiscal year 2025.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town Council may approve the proposed renewal of the Tyler software maintenance, support, and training services agreement in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council approve the renewal of the contract for maintenance, support and training services with Tyler Technologies, as presented.
