EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY

 

The Vienna Police Department requests that the Town Council approve payment not to exceed $147,897.25 to Tyler Technologies for the standard software maintenance agreement (SSMA). Tyler provides maintenance to the department’s computer-aided dispatch, law enforcement records management and mobile data systems. This agreement and contract will ride with an existing contract established by Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #060624-TTI which expires 10/15/28.     

 

Departmental Recommendation:  Police Department recommends this approval.

 

Finance Recommendation:  Recommend approval.

 

Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval.

 

Town Attorney Recommendation:  The Town has a contract subject to renewals with Tyler Technologies and the Council may approve the proposed expenditure of funds in its discretion.

 

Town Manager's Recommendation:  I recommend the Town Council approve a software maintenance contract to Tyler Technologies, as presented.
