EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
As part of the budgeting process, water and sewer rates are reviewed each year as components of the water and sewer enterprise fund. This request is to set a public hearing in order to provide customers with an opportunity to give input on proposed FY2024-25 rates.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 8, 2024 regarding fiscal year 2024-25 water and sewer rates.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 8, 2024 regarding fiscal year 2024-25 water and sewer rates.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: In accordance with the Virginia State Code and the Town Code, the Town Attorney recommends a Public Hearing be set to receive public input on the Town’s proposed FY2024/25 Water and Sewer Rates.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for April 8, 2024 regarding Fiscal Year 2024-2025 for proposed water and sewer rates, as presented.
