EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The following Town Officials are presented for consideration of re-appointment for Fiscal Year 2026-27
Departmental Recommendation:
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation:
Town Attorney Recommendation: Pursuant to the Vienna Town Charter, Section 4.7, the Town Council shall appoint a Town Manager, Town Attorney, and Town Clerk. The Town Council may appoint the proposed officials in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council re-appoint the current Town Manager, Town Attorney, Town Clerk and Town Treasurer, as presented.

Recommended Action
"I move to re-appoint the following Town Appointed Officers for Fiscal Year 2026-27:
Mercury T. Payton, Town Manager, pursuant to a contractual agreement; and
Steven D. Briglia as Town Attorney, pursuant to a contractual agreement between the Town of Vienna and Stevent D. Briglia for legal and prosecuting services; and
Shelley M. Kozlowski as Town Clerk; and Steven Barlow as Town Treasurer.”
