EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY: The Town Council will hold a public hearing on Sept. 14, 2026 to consider reducing the Town's Meals Tax rate from 4% to 3%.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town may set a public hearing to receive public input on the proposed reduction of the Vienna Meals and Lodging Tax rate, in the discretion of the Town Council.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for September 14, 2026 to consider lowering the meal tax rate, as presented.
