EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Public works staff will discuss an emerging technology called microtransit. Town Council may wish to consider implementing such a strategy in Vienna. Discussion will include a brief explanation of this technology, information about where it has been implemented in the region and nationally, and potential grant opportunities to support such a program.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend staff initiate a feasibility/concept study related to microtransit
