Visioning The Center of Town and W&OD Trail (15 Minute Presentation)

BACKGROUND SUMMARY:
In 2007 Vienna cut the ribbon on the Town Green. Now almost twenty years later there are multiple opportunities to enhance connectivity to the commercial corridor, integrate the W&OD Trail to our fabric of our civic center, and expand the Town Green as a community gathering place.
OVERVIEW:
Describing options and visioning on how we can move forward with enhancing the center of Town.
SUMMARY/STAFF IMPRESSIONS:
Review the path to where we are, a vision overview of the W&OD Trail that creates the spine of our center of Town, investments that have been approved to enhance our civic center, and options to enhance this area further. A focus will be made on the decision making on an option agreement to acquire property adjacent to the W&OD Trail including due diligence, timelines, public engagement, funding, and decision points.
