EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year, the Town’s proposed operating budget for the coming fiscal year is presented by the Town Manager and reviewed during work sessions by the Town Council. This public hearing is requested to give Vienna residents an opportunity to provide public comment.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend a public hearing on the FY 2026-27 Proposed Operating Budget.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend a public hearing on the FY 2026-27 Proposed Operating Budget.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: In accordance with state and Town Code provisions, the Town Council may set a public hearing to receive public input on the proposed Town of Vienna FY26/27 Budget in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for April 6, 2026, as presented.
