EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
As part of the budgeting process, water and sewer rates are reviewed each year as components of the water and sewer enterprise fund. This request is to set a public hearing in order to provide customers with an opportunity to give input on proposed FY2023-24 rates.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 10, 2023 regarding fiscal year 2023-24 water and sewer rates.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 10, 2023 regarding fiscal year 2023-24 water and sewer rates.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: Pursuant to the Virginia State and Town Codes, the Town Attorney recommends setting a public hearing on the proposed Town water and sewer rates.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for April 10, 2023 regarding the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 proposed water and sewer rates, as presented.
