EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year an MOU is required between the Town and the Rotary Club of Vienna for the annual Viva! Vienna! Festival. The Town of Vienna and Rotary are continuing this very popular, 75th annual event scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, May 27 - 29, 2023.
The Viva! Vienna! Festival will be held in downtown Vienna on Church Street between Lawyers Road and Mill Street, Dominion Road NE between Ayr Hill Avenue NE and Church Street, Mill Street between Church Street and Maple Avenue and the Vienna Town Green.
New this year, Rotary is requesting to move Backstage Brewfest from the Fire Station Parking lot to Mill Street between Vienna Presbyterian Church and the Town Green and Church Street and Maple Avenue and on the Town Green lawn between the park restrooms and the plaza next to Maple Avenue. This will allow for resource consolidation, safer venues (no one is crossing Maple Avenue), and reduced costs.
