EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The General Assembly routinely adopts updates and amendments to state code sections relating to traffic offenses and driving under the influence. The Town may adopt those changes by reference and incorporate them into the Town Code and routinely does so every year at the beginning of the fiscal year.

Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town Clerk has advertised a Notice of Intent to Adopt and the Town Attorney recommends adopting the proposed Code edits to conform with any state code amendments to traffic offenses and driving under the influence code sections.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council adopt the proposed ordinance to amend as presented the Code of the Town of Vienna Chapter 9, as presented.
