Request the Award of Contact RFP 15-04 For Auditing Services.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The current auditing contract will expire on June 30, 2015. The Town of Vienna issued a Request For Proposal for auditing services. There were four proposals submitted. Of those four firms, three were interviewed. From there the list was narrowed down to two and references were called on the two firms.
The contract is for 5 years with annual renewals up to 9 years altogether.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend awarding the contract to Robinson Farmer Cox.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend awarding the contract to Robinson Farmer Cox.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend Approval
Town Attorney Recommendation: In accordance with public procurement and request for proposal procedures, the Town Council may approve the award of auditing services to Robinson Farmer Cox in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council award the auditing services contract to Robinson, Farmer and Cox as presented.
Cost and Financing: $55,000 for first year
