EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Town Manager's Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 has been presented to the Mayor, Town Council and residents. The Proposed Budget has been reviewed by Town Council during their Work Sessions of March 21, and March 23. April 13 is the date that has been set and published for the Town of Vienna residents to give public input.

Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-16 Town of Vienna Budget, in the total amount of $33,219,690 and detailed as follows:

$23,206,050 for General Fund expenditures,
$2,641,000 for Debt Service Fund expenditures,
$6,990,510 for Water and Sewer Fund expenditures,
$382,130 for Stormwater Fund expenditures,
for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015 and ending June 30, 2016.

The Proposed Budget is based upon the Real Estate Tax Rate at $0.2288 per $100 valuation; Bank Net Capital at $0.80 per $100 valuation and Utility Tax for residential at the rate of 20% of the first $15.00 and Commercial at the rate of 15% of the first $300.00.

After initial publication the total Town budget was increased by $350,000 in the General Fund as additional revenue was identified and addressed during the budget worksessions. An optional budget worksession on April 20, 2015 will be exercised for additional discussion.
