EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:

 

Council has requested that the public hearing for the fiscal year 2016-2017 real estate tax rate be deferred to May 9, 2016.

 

Departmental Recommendation:  Recommend deferring public hearing on real estate tax rate from April 18 to May 9.

 

Finance Recommendation: Recommend deferring public hearing on real estate tax rate from April 18 to May 9. 

 

Purchasing Recommendation:  N/A

 

Town Attorney Recommendation:  Town Council may defer the public hearing in its discretion. Town Attorney recommends that new public hearing date be advertised at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of the public hearing.

 

Town Manager's Recommendation:  I recommend the Town Council defer the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 real estate tax rate from April 18, 2016 to May 9, 2016 as presented.
