EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Department of Public Works requests approval in the amount of $25,000 to utilize Fairfax County Contract #4400003954 to have Petroleum Management, Inc. clean the underground stormwater vault located at the Northside Property Yard and haul the collected debris off-site. Cleaning of the stormwater vault is required per the Northside Property Yard Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan in compliance with the Town of Vienna Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) General Permit No. VAR040066.
Departmental Recommendation: Approve spending in the amount of $25,000 with Petroleum Management.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: The Fairfax County Contract is current and rideable by the Town.
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town may ride the Fairfax County contract for the proposed services or solicit bids in the discretion of Town Council.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council approve Petroleum Management’s cleaning of Northside stormwater vault as presented.
