EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Department of Vehicle Maintenance is requesting FY17 spending with Service Tire Truck Centers in the amount of $30,000, riding Fairfax County contract 4400006706. Service Tire Truck Centers provides a variety of tire services that are essential to Town operations managed by the Department of Public Works.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend funding approval in the amount of $30,000 with Service Tire Truck Centers.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: The Fairfax County contract is current and rideable by the Town.
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town may ride the Fairfax County contract for this proposed purchase or solicit bids in the discretion of Town Council.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council approve Fiscal Year 2017 spending in the amount presented with Service Tire Truck.
