EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Staff came before Council on June 6 to request an increase of $1,266,000 for the Vienna Community Center renovation and expansion project. A motion was made and approved at the June 6 meeting to increase Keller Brothers’ contract in an amount not to exceed $883,300 and to increase Lukmire Partnership’s contract in an amount not to exceed $76,975. The remaining amount of $305,725 was identified as being allocated to the contingency account, however, a motion was not made at the June 6 meeting to increase the contingency account.

Town Attorney Recommendation: Town Council may approve the proposed allocation and expenditure of funds in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend that Town Council increase the Vienna Community Center contingency account in an amount not to exceed $305,725.
