Request approval of MOU between the Town of Vienna and Vienna Business Association for 2016 Oktoberfest

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year a MOU is required between the Town and the Vienna Business Association for the annual Oktoberfest.
The Town of Vienna and Vienna Business Association are continuing the very popular Oktoberfest on Church Street. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, October 1. The MOU remains the same as in previous years.
Departmental Recommendation: The Parks and Recreation Director recommends approval of the MOU between the Town of Vienna and Vienna Business Association.
Finance Recommendation: The MOU adequately addresses our concerns. The Finance Department recommends approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: Town Council may approve the proposed Oktoberfest MOU between the Town and Vienna Business Association in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend that Town Council authorize the Mayor to execute the attached MOU between the Town and Vienna Business Association as presented.
