Contract Renewal for Munis Financial Software Support

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Town of Vienna entered into a contract with Tyler Technologies, DBA Munis, for financial accounting software on July 2, 2014. As part of the contract, annual maintenance fees are required. Maintenance is renewed annually at Tyler’s current maintenance rates. For 201617, the first year of operation after conversion, those fees total $48,737.19. The Finance Department requests that Council approve this expenditure to support the Town’s financial system.
