EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
DPW requests award of IFB 17-09 to Broad Run Recycling, LLC for municipal construction waste disposal. This facility will accept waste generated by Town roadway and building maintenance projects, including dirt, asphalt, concrete, rocks, metal, plastic, drywall, and wood. All materials at this facility are separated and recycled or reused versus being placed in a landfill.
Bids were received from two (2) vendors for the subject IFB. Broad Run Recycling, LLC of Manassas, VA was deemed the low bidder with a total bid amount of $237,500.
