Discussion on the Proposed 2017 Legislative Agenda

BACKGROUND SUMMARY:
Each year the Town of Vienna, with input and suggestions from other elected officials, the public, and the Town Staff, develops a proposed legislative agenda to submit to the General Assembly. The proposed legislative agenda consists of various issues of concern to the Town that may be addressed by the Virginia General Assembly in its upcoming session.
OVERVIEW:
Last year’s proposed Town of Vienna Legislative Agenda is attached.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
The Town Council may discuss current issues that may be appropriate to forward on to the Virginia General Assembly via State Senator Chap Petersen and Virginia Delegate Mark L. Keam.
