EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
DPW requests to award IFB 17-06 to RJ Merkel, Inc. Bids were received from four (4) vendors for the subject IFB. RJ Merkel, Inc. of Brandy Station, VA was deemed the low bidder with a total bid amount of $52,544.
DPW is requesting approval under IFB 17-06 to utilize RJ Merkel for an amount totaling $40,000 for traffic marking on an as-needed basis for FY17.
