EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Departmental Recommendation:
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval. This amount will be funded from previously approved unallocated contingency funds for the project in question.
Purchasing Recommendation:
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town needed expertise in area not within the purview of Town Staff and upon recommendation of the Town Attorney a construction scheduling consultant was retained. This involves a matter of potential litigation. The initial expenditure of funds was less than $20,000; however, the Town will need to continue seeking input from the expert. The Town Attorney recommends the approval of expenditure of funds for this expert.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council approve the expenditure of funds for an expert in an area where there may be litigation as presented.
