EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
On June 6, 2017, the traffic cabinet at Nutley and Maple stopped working. The exact cause is unknown. It was determined not to be a power supply issue, but a problem within the cabinet. Traffic Engineering requests to purchase two traffic cabinets, one as a replacement for Nutley and Maple Avenue and one to have as backup. Purchase will be made with .J.O Herbert in the amount of $22,724.90.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend approval.

Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Town Attorney Recommendation: Upon written justification and execution of the Town’s waiver form, Town Council may approve the proposed purchase of traffic control cabinets in its discretion.
