o set up a composting service for businesses and residents
o improve energy efficiency of Town operations
o garner grants for Town operations
o develop energy assurance plan to allow the government to respond to and operate in energy emergencies
o develop a policy to utilize energy efficient and dark sky compliant outdoor light fixtures
o Establish a property assessed commercial clean energy (C-PACE) loan program that allows for the repayment of loans either on the property tax or utility bills
o Public outreach program to inform citizens about effective practices in normal home maintenance activities to reduce pollution from storm water runoff
o Work with the police chief on the design of the police station to garner high efficiency and potentially, on-site renewable energy
