EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year a real estate tax rate is recommended as part of the Town Manager’s Proposed Budget. This request is to set a public hearing on April 23, 2018 in order to provide for public input on the real estate tax rate proposed for Fiscal Year 2018-19.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend setting a Public Hearing on April 23, 2018 regarding the Fiscal Year 2018-19 tax rate.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend setting a Public Hearing on April 23, 2018 regarding the Fiscal Year 2018-19 tax rate.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town Attorney recommends setting a public hearing on the proposed Town real estate tax rate.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing on April 23, 2018 regarding the FY 2018-2019 real estate tax rate as presented.
