Request award of IFB 18-13 and FY18 spending for Midlantic Marking

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Bids were received from three (3) vendors for IFB 18-13 for installation of traffic markings. The results of the bids are detailed in the Bid Tabulation, attached.
Midlantic Marking was the low bidder with a total bid amount of $36,487.69. Midlantic Marking has been determined to be a responsive and responsible bidder and has met IFB specifications. DPW also requests FY18 spending with Midlantic Marking in the amount of $36,487.69.
Departmental Recommendation: Award IFB 18-13 to Midlantic Marking and approve FY spending.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town has competitively bid the proposed contract, and Town Council may award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council award IFB 18-13 to Midlantic Marking for traffic markings as presented.
