EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Department of Parks and Recreation requests approval in the amount of $30,000 with Ross Tree Expert Company, dba RTEC Treecare, utilizing IFB 18-06 for tree maintenance and removal. This funding will adequately address contracted pruning and removal of Town-owned trees that may pose a threat to public/private and personal property. The tree maintenance and removal will be scheduled with work being complete in FY19.
Departmental Recommendation: Approve spending in the amount of $30,000 with Ross Tree Expert Company, dba RTEC Treecare, as per terms and conditions of IFB 18-06.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town has a contract for the proposed tree work and the Town Council may approve the proposed expenditure of funds in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council approve the tree maintenance and removal with Ross Tree Expert Company as presented.
