EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The purpose of the feasibility study is to develop a report that will assist the Town of Vienna in their consideration of purchasing Bouton’s Hall at 144 Church Street in Vienna. The building is owned by the Masonic Lodge and is currently occupied by the Pennywise Thrift Shop (main floor and basement) with the Masonic Lodge facilities located on the second floor. A condition assessment report for the building dated June 28, 2018 was prepared by Gauthier Alvarado & Associates. The feasibility report will include information on the condition of the building (utilizing information from the condition assessment report), recommendations for repair, restoration and rehabilitation, a potential design that will accommodate future use(s) proposed by the Town, and a magnitude of cost estimate for accomplishing this work.
