Request approval to increase spending and extend project area for Glyndon Street Improvements Design Construction

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
DPW requests to extend the project area for Glyndon Street improvements to include curbing and appropriate storm drain along the frontage of 220 Glyndon St NE to alleviate storm runoff from entering the property and damaging existing landscaping. Urban Ltd will prepare topography of the development, which will include spot elevation on curbs, pavement, walkways, etc.; horizontal and vertical as-builts of sanitary and storm sewers; and the location of all trees greater than 6” diameter, shrubs, and any topographical and drainage features. In addition, Urban will research all property line locations.
Attached is a proposal from Urban, Ltd, per terms and conditions of RFP 19-01, for $12,300, to perform the survey for the extended project area and offer conceptual solutions. To date, Council has approved $87,000 for this project on PO 20180313.
