EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Due for replacement according to the Vehicle Replacement Program (VRP) is vehicle #88, a 2-Ton dump truck and snow plow, under the Publics, Streets Division on page 7 of the VRP. Henderson has been awarded Sourcewell contract #080114-HPI for Snow and Ice Handling Equipment with accessories, services and supplies. National Auto Fleet Group has been awarded Sourcewell contract #081716-NAF for Class 6, 7 & 8 cab chassis.
The cost are for the body and plow $57,901; cab & chassis $86,455 for a total of $144,356. VRP Estimate cost $164,500.

Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town may ride the Henderson and Sourcewell contracts for the proposed vehicle purchase and plow in the discretion of the Town Council.
