EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Department of Public Works requests approval of $114,000 in FY19 spending with Mid-Atlantic Salt for de-icing salt, riding Montgomery County Contract #1088536.
Departmental Recommendation: Approve FY19 spending with Mid-Atlantic Salt.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town may ride the Montgomery County contract for the proposed salt purchase, and Town Council may approve the proposed expenditure of funds or direct staff to solicit bids in its discretion.
