Public Hearing on the 2019 Legislative Agenda

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year the Town of Vienna receives public input and adopts a legislative agenda to submit to the General Assembly. The proposed 2019 Legislative Agenda consists of various issues of concern to the Town that may be addressed by the Virginia General Assembly in its upcoming session.

Town Attorney Recommendation: Every year the Town proposes legislative items to submit to the Virginia General Assembly. After receipt of input from Town staff and Senator Chap Peterson and Delegate Mark Keam, Town Council has formulated a proposed legislative agenda. Town Council may conduct a public hearing to receive public input on the proposed legislative agenda and adopt the 2019 Legislative Agenda in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council close the public hearing and approve the proposed 2019 Town of Vienna Legislative Agenda, as presented.
