EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year, the Town’s upcoming year operating budget is presented by the Town Manager and reviewed during work sessions by Town Council. This public hearing is requested to give Vienna residents an opportunity to provide public comment.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 8, 2019 regarding the fiscal year 2019-20 operating budget.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 8, 2019 regarding the fiscal year 2019-20 operating budget.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: Pursuant to state and Town Code provisions, Town Council must hold a public hearing on the proposed Town Budget prior to its adoption.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for April 8, 2019 regarding the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 operating budget, as presented.
