EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
As part of the budgeting process, water and sewer rates are reviewed each year as components of the water and sewer enterprise fund. This request is to set a public hearing in order to provide the public with an opportunity for input.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 8, 2019 regarding fiscal year 2019-20 water and sewer rates.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 8, 2019 regarding fiscal year 2019-20 water and sewer rates.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: Pursuant to state and Town Code provisions, Town Council must hold a public hearing on proposed Town water and sewer rates prior to their adoption.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for April 8, 2019 regarding Fiscal Year 2019-2020 proposed water and sewer rates, as presented.
