EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year a real estate tax rate is recommended as part of the Town Manager’s proposed budget. This request is to set a public hearing for May 13, 2019 in order to provide for public input on the proposed real estate tax rate for fiscal year 2019-20.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for May 13, 2019 regarding the fiscal year 2019-20 tax rate.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for May 13, 2019 regarding the fiscal year 2019-20 tax rate.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town Attorney recommends setting a public hearing for the proposed real estate tax rate.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council re-set a public hearing for May 13, 2019 regarding the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 real estate tax rate, as presented.
