EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Departmental Recommendation: Cox Wireless Access, LLC (“COX”) co-locates and installs telecommunication antennas on existing utility and light poles within a locality’s right-of-way. COX, pursuant to state and Town codes, are required to obtain a license for use of the right-of-way.

Town Attorney Recommendation: Town Council must conduct a public hearing to grant a license or franchise to use the public right-of-way for more than five (5) years.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council conduct a public hearing on June 3, 2019, for a telecommunication license to Cox Wireless Access, LLC, as presented.
