EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
In February 2015 the Town solicited RFP 15-04 for financial auditing services. The six-year contract with a three-year extension was awarded to Robinson Farmer Cox Associates at the April 13, 2015 Council meeting. Robinson Farmer Cox has indicated its fees in fiscal year 2019-20 to audit fiscal year 2018-19 will be $46,000.
The Finance Department asks Town Council to authorize this expenditure for the fifth year of the contract.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend authorization of the appropriation to Robinson Farmer Cox Associates PLLC for financial auditing services.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend authorization of the appropriation to Robinson Farmer Cox Associates PLLC for financial auditing services.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town may extend and approve the contract with Robinson Farmer Cox Associates for financial auditing services or solicit bids with an RFP in the discretion of Town Council.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommended Town Council approve the expenditure for the fifth year of the contract with Robinson Farmer Cox and Associates PLLC.
