Discussion of a Proposed 2020 General Assembly Legislative Agenda

Each year the Town Council adopts a Legislative Agenda to submit to the Virginia General Assembly for consideration.
OVERVIEW: Attached is last year’s adopted Town of Vienna Legislative Agenda and a draft Legislative agenda with carryover items and comments/suggestions for proposed items.
SUMMARY/STAFF IMPRESSIONS: Legislation with a fiscal impact should always be distinguished from legislation that does not have fiscal impacts (state or local).
RECOMMENDATION: The Town Council may adopt a Legislative Agenda in its discretion.
