EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Department of Parks and Recreation requests approval of FY20 expenditures not to exceed $50,000 with Ross Tree Expert Company, dba RTEC Treecare, utilizing IFB 18-06 for tree maintenance and removal. This funding level will adequately address contracted pruning and removal of Town-owned trees that may pose a threat to public/private and personal property.
Departmental Recommendation: Approve expenditures not to exceed $50,000 with Ross Tree Expert Company, dba RTEC Treecare, per terms and conditions of IFB 18-06.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval for FY 2020 spending.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Town Attorney Recommendation: Town Council may approve the proposed expenditure of funds in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council approve FY20 expenditures with Ross Tree Expert Company for tree maintenance and removal, as presented.
