EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
DPW is requesting to award IFB 20-01 to Commonwealth Paving for Asphalt Repair, as needed.
Bids were received from three (3) vendors for the subject IFB. The bid was received from Commonwealth Paving, of Manassas, VA with a total bid amount of $56,000.00. Commonwealth Paving has been determined to be a responsive and responsible bidder, and has met the specifications of the IFB. Commonwealth Paving will be utilized on an as needed basis for asphalt repair.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend Approval
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town has solicited bids for the propose asphalt repair contract and the Town Council may award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council approve an award of IFB 20-01 to Commonwealth Paving, as presented.
Cost and Financing: $56,000.00
