Resolution to include members of Council, Boards and Commissions as "Employees" of the Town for purposes of Workers' Compensation insurance coverage, replacing Resolution dated October 1, 2001.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Town Council adopted a Resolution on October 1, 2001, that included members of Council, Boards and Commissions under the definition of “Employees” of the Town for the purposes of coverage under the Town’s Workers’ Compensation Insurance policy. The list consisted of the Council and eight (8) Boards and Commissions. The Resolution requested to be adopted at this time removes from the list the “Community Enhancement Commission” and adds the “Conservation and Sustainability Commission” and the “Bicycle Advisory Committee,” for a total of nine Boards and Commissions, whose 74 members will be covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance, in addition to the seven members of Town Council. There is no additional cost impact to the Town’s Property and Casualty Insurance Policy.
