Consider resolution to adopt 2020 Town Council meeting schedule and to include the schedule in the 2020 Town Calendar

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Staff requests Council's approval of the 2020 Town Council regular meeting and work session schedule for inclusion in the 2020 Town Calendar and as required by Town Code. The Town calendar includes meeting dates for Town Council and other boards and commissions as well as Town events and is mailed to all Town residents in December.
A working draft of the 2020 Town Calendar has been provided for Town Council's review and approval. Please note that the calendar is still under review by Town staff and other organizations, and some dates may still change.
The 2020 calendar will feature photography provided by the Vienna Photographic Society as well as information about Town Council, boards and commissions, recyclable materials, and frequently asked questions.
Departmental Recommendation: The communications and marketing office recommends that Town Council adopt the 2020 regular meeting and work session schedule as presented or with changes at its discretion and include this schedule in the 2020 Town Calendar.

Town Attorney Recommendation: Pursuant to the Town Charter and Town Code Section 2-14, "(t)he Town Council The Town Council shall meet in regular session on the first and third Mondays of each month at 8:00 p.m., or at such other times as may be fixed by resolution; provided that at least one regular meeting per month shall be held as required by section 4.2 of the Charter. When the first or third Monday of a month falls on a legal holiday, the council may by motion postpone or advance the regular meeting scheduled for such a holiday, and notice of such postponement or advancement, together with the substitute date selected, shall be published by such means as the council may select. "
